By the above property,
AP = AQ (tangent from A)

Clearly,
AP = BP = BR
AQ = AP = BR
Now,
AQ + QC = BR + RC
⇒ AC = BC [∵AC = AQ + QC and BC = BR + RC]
Hence, AC = BC
