# The L.S.A of a cube is 64 cm^{2}. Calculate the side of the cube.

Answer :

Given: Lateral Surface Area of a Cube = 64cm^{2}

Lateral Surface Area of a Cube = **4a ^{2}**

So, According to the question

Lateral Surface Area of a Cube = 64 = 4a^{2}

4a^{2} = 64

a^{2} = = 16

a = = ± 4 = 4cm (side can’t be negative)
