A copper plate was dipped in AgN03 Solution. After certain time, silver from the solution was deposited on the copper plate. State the reason why it happened. Give the chemical equation of the reaction involved.
Answer :
Deposition of silver on the copper plate will occur when copper plate will be dipped in AgNO3 Solution. This happens because copper is more reactive in nature then that of the silver, so copper displaces silver from silver nitrate Solution.
