The direction of magnetic field is given by right hand thumb rule and the direction of the magnetic field mid way between two parallel conductors carrying same amount of current in the same direction and in the opposite direction is shown in the figure.

When the direction of current is upwards the magnetic fields are anti clockwise and when the current direction is downwards the magnetic fields are clockwise. But in both the cases the direction of magnetic field midway is in opposite direction.
