NEET Syllabus 2021 - Education Minister Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has instructed the NTA to release a fresh syllabus for competitive and entrance exams for the session 2021. NEET 2021 is expected to take place in the month of May 2021. The NEET 2021 will be held offline in ‘pen & paper’ mode. The NEET UG Syllabus is the first thing you should know before you kickstart your NEET 2021 preparation. The key to success in NEET UG 2021 is the complete understanding of the NEET syllabus and exam pattern. Based on the previous years, the forthcoming NEET 2021 exam includes the following sections: Biology, Physics & Chemistry.

Every year NTA conducts the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test to select candidates for various medical courses such as MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/BUMS in MCI/DCI approved colleges in India. Last year, an increase of 5.13% of candidates was seen in NEET 2020 examination. In 2020, NTA has seen a total of 15.97 lakh NEET registrations. The NEET 2021 notification is yet to be announced, however, it is advised to start your exam preparation at the earliest.

NEET syllabus for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology is designed by Medical Council of India (MCI). The NEET Biology syllabus, NEET Physics syllabus and NEET Chemistry syllabus remain the same every year with the slight change in the chapter-wise weightage. The overall level of the NEET exam depends on the syllabus of class 11th and 12th, The time duration of the NEET exam is three (3) hours.

The NEET 2021 exam will be divided into three sections; the Physics and Chemistry will contain 45 questions each while Biology carries 90 questions. Each correction will be rewarded with 4 marks each. The total marks for NEET 2021 will be 720 marks. There will be negative marking, for each wrong answer, there will be deduction of 1 mark.
