NEET Cutoff 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the NEET 2020 cutoff list along with the result in the second week of October 2020, tentatively. You can check cut off scores and closing ranks for NEET in the post. We got the number of queries regarding the expected Category wise cut off marks for NEET 2020. So here in this article, we have summarised predicted NEET 2020 Cut off under All India Quota seats along with previous year opening & closing rank. Different colleges will release the NEET 2020 cut off marks after the declaration of the NEET 2020 results and thus will set their own cut off marks. The cut off marks are the lowest possible marks a candidate must obtain in order to qualify for NEET 2020. See more detail on NEET marks vs rank in below sections.

The criteria for calculation of cutoff marks is dynamic and thus depends on below-mentioned dimensions:

  • The total number of candidates appeared in NEET 2020
  • Available number of seats in different colleges
  • Difficulty level OF NEET 2020
  • Category wise cut off marks (cut off marks will be released on the basis of the category of students. There is a relaxation of seats for OBC, SC, and ST candidates)

Also, there will be 15% All India quota and 85% state quota.

NEET 2020 Result and Counselling

NEET 2020 result shall be declared in the second week of October 2020. The candidates can check the result through online mode. Students are required to enter their registration number and date of birth for logging in NEET 2020 result declaration will then be followed by counselling process. This will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)  for 15% all India quota seats.

The counselling process will involve-

  1. Registration for counselling
  2. Choice filling and locking
  3. Allotment of seats and reporting to the allotted medical/dental college.
