Subject: Regarding missing items in the consignment
Please refer to our order number NC/72 dated 15th July 2019 for the bulk supply of sports goods. The order was received on the expected date i.e. 21st July 2019. We are forced to express our resentment that the consignment contents did not tally with those we had ordered.
It is disappointing to point out that you have not given us any satisfactory or reasonable cause for the non-performance on your part. Before accepting the order you had sent a confirmation that all the items ordered are available and shall reach us on time. We haven’t received the badminton rackets and 3 pieces of tennis balls are also missing. Also, some of the products did not tally with those ordered. We had ordered for ‘COSCO’ basket ball but received ‘Yonex’ basket ball.
As mentioned in the letter of order, we reserve the rights to reject any item either found defective or not as per the samples. Therefore, we hope that you will make arrangements for delivering and returning the missing items latest by 30th July 2019 as the new session has begun and this will put a hold on the sports activities.
