Answer :
PET is a polymer which is made up of chemical units named ethylene terephthalate. This is one of the commonly used polyesters and is thermoplastic in nature. PET is mainly used to make bottles and containers for storing food, beverages, soft drinks etc. It is also used in many other consumer products.
