Tourism industry has formed the world’s largest tertiary activity with maximum number of jobs registered (250 million) and total revenue from this sector forms 40% of the total GDP. It also gives local people an opportunity to engage in providing services like accommodation, meals, transport, entertainment and special shops serving tourists. It is a means to boost the development of infrastructure, retail trading and craft industries. Some regions have seasonal tourism because of climatic factors but most places attract tourists all year round.
