Write the main reason for the stability of colloidal sols.
The main reasons for the stability of colloidal sols are:
a) The presence of a sheath of liquid in which colloidal particles are extensively solvated provides stability.
b) The coagulation of the colloidal sol is prevented by the presence of equal and similar charges on the colloidal particles.
