Q. 15.0( 4 Votes )

Write the first five terms of each of the sequences. whose nth terms are an = n(n+2)

Answer :

an = n(n+2)

For n = 1, a1 = 1(1 + 2) = 3

For n = 2, a2 = 2(2 + 2) = 8

For n = 3, a3 = 3(3 + 2) = 15

For n = 4, a4 = 4(4 + 2) = 24

For n = 5, a5 = 5(5 + 2) = 35

Thus first five terms are 3, 8, 15, 24, 35.
