Temperature. The adsorption decreases with increase in temperature.

Surface area of the adsorbent. Greater the surface area, greater is the adsorption.

Concentration of the solute in the solution.

The expression for Freundlich’s equation to describe the behaviour of adsorption from solution is given below:

Where n is a positive integer and n and k are the constants depending upon the nature of the adsorbate and adsorbant at particular temperature and C is the concentration.
