We can conserve the minerals in India in the following manner:
a. Exhaustible resources such as coal and petroleum should be replaced by developing inexhaustible resources such as solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy, etc.
b. The Scarce materials can be substituted for the alternative to reduce their consumption.
c. In the case of metallic minerals, the use of scrap metals will promote the recycling of metals. Scrap is significant in copper, zinc, and lead.
d. The export of strategic and scars mineral must be reduced so that the existing reserve can be used for a longer duration.
