Answer :

every living organism’s life is supported by certain environmental factors like air, water, wind, climate temperature, gravity etc. and in order to maintain these factors we need an atmosphere. E.g. – due to no atmosphere the temperature on moon varies between -190 to 110 degree Celsius, this variable cannot be tolerated by any kind of living organism. Hence atmosphere is essential for survival.
