Give Reasons for the Following:

Why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of a glass containing ice-cold water?

Answer :

The water vapour present in the air comes in contact with the glass containing ice-cold water. The vapour loses its energy to the cold water and gets converted to water droplets which we see on the outer surface of the glass. This process is called condensation.
