Why did the Provisional government become unpopular?

Answer :

The provisional government became unpopular because landowners and the industrialists were influenced by the provincial government. They took such measures which angered the common people. Industries were the private properties of the industrialists and the factory inspectors set up almost 15 hours of working as compared to the working hours in factories which were 10 to 12 hours.
