Why Belgium leade

The Belgian leaders adopted a different path. They recognize the existence of regional difference and cultural diversities. Between 1970 and 1993, the constitution was amended four times so as to work out an arrangement that would maintain the peace and unity in the country. The arrangement they worked out is different from any other country and was very innovative. Its main aim was to create a stable, unified system of governance.
