Which state has the lowest density of population in India- Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal?

The density of population is a calculation of population per unit area. According to 2011 census, Arunachal Pradesh has the lowest density of population equals to 17 and Bihar has the highest density of population equals to 1102.

The reasons for the low density of Arunachal Pradesh can be lack of connectivity to other parts of India and world, lack of resources for livelihood, lack of employment etc.


NOTE: In Union Territories, Andaman and Nicobar have the lowest density of population equals to 46 and Delhi has the highest density of population equals to 9340.
