Which method is mostly used for purification of solids?

Answer :

Crystallization is the most commonly used method for the process of purification of solids. In this method, impure substances are dissolved in minimum amount of water and then filtered. The filtered solution is then heated to obtain a saturated solution. It is then cooled overnight to obtain crystals of the substance.
