When brown co pound of manganese (A) is treated with HCl it gives chlorine gas.
MnO2 + 4HCl → MnCl2 + Cl2 +2H2O

The chlorine gas reacts with NH3 to given NCl3
3Cl2 + NH3 →NCl3 + 3HCl
(B) (C)
The brown compound A = MnO2
Gas B = Cl2
Explosive compound C= NCl3
