Russian revolution took place in 1917 when the peasants and working-class people of Russia opposed Tsar Nicholas and revolted against the government. The group was led by Vladimir Lenin and the group of revolutionaries called Bolsheviks. The soviet union created a new Communist government.

The impact of this revolution:

1. Russia was the first country to establish a communist state. Later many countries established the communist party.

2. Socialism was a widely recognized ideology, after the revolution, this ideology helped in eradicating discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, colour, etc.. in many countries.

3. Democracy was established after the revolution in Russia, this type of governance impressed other countries and Democracy got established in many countries.

4. As the revolution was marched mainly by the workers, it led them to establish the dignity of labour in many another part of the world.

5. The revolution taught the world the feeling of nationalism is greatest.
