What is the role of the brain in reflex action?

Answer :

Brain has no role in case of reflex action as it is an extremely quick action which does not involve any thinking by the brain.In case of reflex action the stimulus is received by the spinal cord and the only role that brain plays is to register the information that the reflex action has taken place
