What is the function of digestive enzymes?
Digestive enzymes help in breaking the large food particles into small simpler particles which are easily absorbed by blood and transported to body cells. For example- amylase converts starch into simpler sugar and pepsin coverts protein into simpler particles are digestive enzymes.
