g. The culture of the political and economically powerful societies leaves its imprint on a less powerful society.


h. Some people use the word McDonaldization of the world with cultures seeking to buy into the dominant American dream.


However, its effects are not always negative. The following points explain the statement:


a. Cultures are constantly changing and are not static things.


b. All cultures accept outside influences all the time.


c. External influences enlarge our choices and modify a culture without affecting the tradition and Customs in a negative manner.


d. The burger of the West is not a substitute for the Indian masala dosa. It is only an added food choice.


e. Similarly, blue jeans can be paired with a homespun Khadi kurta combination of clothes.
