What efforts are made by the government to modernise agriculture?

2. Rural infrastructure- Government has focused on the development of rural infrastructure to modernize agriculture.


3. The government introduced various crop insurance schemes for the farmers to protect them against the losses of crop failure caused by natural calamities like flood, drought etc.
