What do you know
Answer :
Mr. Keith was Helen's tutor from Cambridge school who carries on her preparation for the final examination to enter Radcliffe College. His lessons were interpreted by Anne Sullivan. She described him as gentle, and patient because she took long to grasp a particular subject. She found subjects like algebra and geometry difficult to understand unlike languages and literatures but Mr. Keith was able to make the difficult subjects interesting and concise. He taught her to think in a calm and logical manner, and develop reasoning skills before jumping to conclusions. He continued to help her patiently no matter how long it took to grasp a subject fully. She was extremely grateful for his endurance and acknowledgement of her disabilities and admired his teaching methods. It is evident from Helen's description that Mr, Keith was well-educated, kind, sympathetic, patient and explained things more clearly than any teacher.
