What differentiates a ferrous mineral from a non-ferrous mineral?
Answer :
The term ‘ferrous’ means containing or consisting of iron. Ferrous minerals are those minerals that contain iron while non-ferrous minerals are those that do not contain iron. In the following table, their difference has been further illustrated.
