Most of the energy resources utilized depend on conventional sources – fossil fuels. The extraction of these energy sources is very costly both economically and environmentally. Since these are non-renewable resources, they have to be efficiently utilized. Energy is required for industry, agriculture, transport, communication and defence. Thus the use of the resources should not only be benefitted to the current generation but it should also benefit the future generation.
Resource Conservation is the process of using resources very carefully and giving them protection and also giving them time to get renewed. It is very important because the use of the resources should not only be benefitted to the current generation but it should also benefit the future generation. The resource conservation is mainly needed to the natural resources which are non- renewable. Conservation of resources can be in our daily life with our small efforts. These small efforts can be useful to conserve a huge amount of natural resources.
• Save water while using.
Don’t use plenty of water to brush and bath. Water is also natural resources and it is getting depleted every year. So if we conserve it now it can be helpful to face the huge draught that is yet to arrive.
• Don’t cut trees
Don't allow anyone to cut trees that are available in your surroundings. These trees are responsible for the rain and if they are exhausted then there will be a water scarcity in the country
• Plant more trees
Try to plant as many trees as possible. Planting more trees will help to expand the greenery in the economy.
• Save electricity
Save electricity by switching off the lights and fans while leaving the rooms. Electricity is being generated by the use of water; therefore saving electricity is also a much more important task.
• Try to reduce pollution
Pollution is also a big contributor to the depletion of natural resources and also a major threat to the environment.
