Given,

Triple point of water in absolute scale A, TA = 200A


Triple point of water in absolute scale B, TB = 350B


We know that the triple point of water in Kelvin scale (TK) is 273.15K.


So, 200A = 273.15


A = 273.15/200 …………(1)


Also, 350B = 273.15


B = 273.15/350 …………(2)


Dividing equation (1) by (2),we get


A/B = (273.15/200)/(273.15/350)


A/B = 350/200


A/B = 7/4


4A = 7B


Hence, A and B are related by the relation 4A = 7B.


NOTE: The triple point of a substance is the temperature and pressure at which the three phases (gas, liquid, and solid) of that substance coexist in thermodynamic equilibrium.
