Tobacco smoking,

Tobacco contains “nicotine” which is a stimulant to the adrenal glands. It causes the release of adrenaline and nor adrenaline, which raises blood pressure and increases heart rate. Smoking tobacco can also result in increased incidences of cancer of lungs, urinary bladder and throat. Illnesses like bronchitis, emphysema, gastric ulcer are common effects of smoking tobacco. It also increases CO content in blood and reduces concentration of haem-bound oxygen.Tobacco chewing is associated with increased risk of cancer of the oral cavity
