Textbooks surely do not have all the medicine that is required to cure the diseases of mankind. They include only the basic and ancient methods and medicine. The world is progressing day by day. There are a lot of new equipment and medicine coming into existence. Hence the practicing physician can know their usage and methods of handling, which means they learn something that is beyond their textbook syllabus. Hence there is a lot of difference between textbook medicine and the world of practicing physicians.
