So in coil A due to coil B will be same because coil A moves with constant velocity towards coil B. So in coil A current will be constant and will be in same direction as in B coil in accordance with Lenz’s law.


Now coming to the options with above discussion, option (a) is totally wrong because current is in counterclockwise direction in coil A. Current is constant in coil A so option (b) also eliminated. Option (c) is totally wrong.


Therefore, option (d) is the correct answer.
