(a) Afferent arteriole is the blood vessel which enters the Malpighian capsule.


Note: This afferent arteriole breaks into a number of capillaries which forms the knot-like glomerulus that fits into the Bowman’s capsule.


(b) Efferent arteriole is the blood vessel that leaves the Malpighian capsule.


Note: The capillaries when leaves the glomerulus reunites to form the efferent neuron.
