Give reasons for
social harmony and good economic conditions are necessary for good health
Human beings live in societies and different localities like villages or cities, which determines the social and physical environment and hence both are to be kept in harmony. Personal issues and community issues both have an adverse effect on human health. Personal issues includes the issues with family members, difficulty in studies, financial problem, sickness of close relative while; community issues include bully, rude behavior of neighbors, unethical and immoral practices carried out in your surroundings, no liberty to practice our culture. In both scenarios the consequences can prove to be fatal for the health. They can cause depression, mental illness, neurotic problems, anxiety, severe headache, loss of appetite.
Surrounding environmental conditions plays an important role in the maintenance of health.
For example: We feel depressed if –
(i) Surrounding are dirty or polluted
(ii) Garbage is not collected or disposed off
(iii) Drains are not cleaned and water collects in the streets or open spaces.
Unclean surrounding causes the entry of germs via air, water, food or vectors and makes the person unhealthy.
