One of the primary objectives of vigilance is to create awareness among people against corruption. Vigilance means watchfulness. Preventive vigilance means measures taken to improve systems and procedure and reduce corruption.
In this, slogans act as a tool they create awareness among the masses. The slogan like ‘a vigilant consumer is an asset to the nation”. This means that a consumer must be aware of the product that he is consuming as that would help in reducing the corruption.
