The five measures adopted to solve the problems of Indian agriculture are:
a) The government promoted the use of High yielding variety or HYV seeds.
b) It also provided fertilisers, pesticides and proper irrigation facilities to the farmers.
c) Promotion of modern technologies which can be easily incorporated in agriculture.
d) Intensification of cropping over cultivated land.
e) Increase the area under cultivation wherever possible and feasible.
