(a) Martin Luther protested against the Church because he condemned the luxurious life that the church was living. He also rejected the ceremonies and penances as the mode of salvation. He emphasised on the idea that everyone can read the bible and not just the church.
(b) Martin Luther coined the doctrine of Justification by faith in which he said that by faith, one could attain salvation. He put forward this doctrine in order to reject the idea of church that by ceremonies and penances a man could get salvation.
(c) Henry VIII established he Anglican Church because he wanted to annul his marriage with Catherine who was the aunt of holy Roman emperor. The roman emperor pressurised the pope to not annul the marriage as against to which Henry VIII broke all the ties with Rome and set up the Anglican Church.
