(a) Tasmanian wolf evolved is evolved by adaptive radiation. Adaptive radiation occurs when members of a single species occupy different geographical areas. Consequently, members evolve different morphological features (adaptations) in response to the conditions of that area.


(b) Convergent evolution is the process which lead the evolution of wolf and Tasmania wolf.


Convergent evolution occurs when two distinct species with different ancestries evolve to have similar physical features.


(c) Wolf has placenta (tissue confection between foetus and mother), whereas Tasmanian wolf has marsupium (A pouch in which young lives for some time after birth).
