(b) The passage highlights the problems due to which people in India do not prefer to go to libraries. A small fraction of Indians is educated, and out of them most of them either do not have time or do not find it worthy to invest their time in books. People are addicted to television and internet and prefer e-books and watching their favorite channels rather than reading. People also lost their interest in libraries because of poor maintenance.
