i. A man cannot think rationally and a king cannot guard his kingdom properly.

ii. He may take a wrong decision.

iii. He may drag a man away from profits.

3. The wise suggestion Gandhari gave to her son was:

i. Victory is short lived and a person can only gain it by staying away from greed and vices.

ii. He should make peace as there is no good outcome of the war.

He would be honored by his parents and well-wishers if he chooses to refrain from war.
