# If (x-2) is a fac

Put x = 2 throughout the polynomial and equate it to zero as x -2 is the factor of the given polynomial.

(2)3 – m × (2)2 + 10 × 2 – 20 = 0

8 – 4m + 20 – 20 = 0

4m = 8

m = 2

So for x-2 to be the factor of the given polynomial, the value of m = 2.
