# Write down the product of 8x^{2}y^{6} and-20xy verify the product for x=2.5, y=1

Answer :

8 × -2 × x^{2} × x × y^{6} × y

= 16 × x^{3} × y^{7}

= 16x^{3}y^{7}

Verification is when, x = 2.5 and y = 1

R.H.S = 16 (2.5)^{3} × (1)^{7}

= 16 × 15.625

= 250

L.H.S = -8 × 2.5^{2} × 1^{6} × -20 × 1 × 2.5

= 250

Therefore,

L.H.S = R.H.S
