Given: The ratio of area and perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 4√3

To Find: Area of an equilateral triangle.

Concept Used:

Area of an equilateral triangle

The perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3a

Where a = side of the equilateral triangle.


Let a be the side of an equilateral triangle.


a = 12 × √3 × √3

a = 12 × 3

a = 36 cm


Area = 324√3 cm2.

Hence, the area of the triangle is 324√3 cm2.
