If A and B are two independent events such that P(A) = 0.3 and . Find P(B).

Answer :

Given A and B are independent events =>

Since A and B are independent, A and are also independent

By theorem,

0.8= 0.3+(1-P(B))-0.3(1-P(B))

0.8= 0.3+1-P(B)-0.3+0.3P(B)

0.8-1= -0.7P(B)

-0.2= -0.7P(B)
