# Expand:

(2x – y)(2x + y)(4x^{2} + y^{2})

Answer :

Applying the formula (a + b)(a - b) = a^{2} - b^{2} on first two terms

(2x – y)(2x + y)(4x^{2} + y^{2}) = (4x^{2} - y^{2}) (4x^{2} + y^{2})

Applying the formula (a + b)(a - b) = a^{2} - b^{2} again

⇒ (2x – y)(2x + y)(4x^{2} + y^{2}) = (16x^{4} – y^{4})
