(x – a) is divided by p (x)

p (a) = (a)3 – a (a)2 + 6 (a) - a

= a3 – a3 + 6a - a

= 5a

Hence, both Assertion (A) and Reason (R) are true also Reason (R) is the correct explanation of Assertion (A)
