Rewriting the above equation as.
9y - x = 7 (i)
5y - x = - 5 (ii)
In this problem, we will eliminate ‘x’ from both the equations by subtracting the equation.
y = 3, putting the value of y in equation(i), we have x = 20
Hence the solution of the linear equation is y = 3 and x = 20
