# The area of one s

Let the surface of the cube be ‘a’ m.

We know that all surfaces of a cube are equal.

Therefore, the surface area of the cube = a2

Given surface area of the cube = 64 sq. m

a2 = 64

a = √64

a = 8 m

We know that the volume of a cube = a3

Volume = 83 = 8×8×8 = 512 m3
