Q. 43.5( 33 Votes )

Subtract 3x-4y-7z

Answer :

Sum of x – 3y + 2z and -4x + 9y – 112

= (x – 3y + 2z) + (-4x + 9y – 112)

= x – 4x – 3y + 9y + 2z – 112

= -3x + 6y – 92

The resultant expression has to be subtracted

i.e. 3x – 4y – 72

= (-3x + 6y – 92) – (3x – 4y – 72)

= -3x – 3x + 6y + 6y – 9z + 7z

= -6x + 10y – 2z
