⇒ a² – 3a + 9 = 0

Now,

a³ + 27

= a³ + 3³

Using x³ + y³ = (x + y) (x² – xy + y²)

= (a + 3) (a² – 3a + 3²)

= (a + 3) (a² – 3a + 9)

= (a + 3) × 0

= 0
